Drop Point Cub - DIY Knife Making Kit - USA Design The Drop Point Cub knife kit is a great hunter/skinner design. It was purpose-created to fit well in the hand, where the butt can be held freely in the palm to improve precision cutting work control. The drop point blade is made from 440A stainless steel, and the pre-attached guard is made from high quality brass. The blade length on the Drop Point Cub is 2.75 inches, and the blade thickness is 0.130 inches. It comes hollow-ground, satin-finished, and has a pre-pinned brass finger guard attached. It features (8) 0.078 inch perimeter tang holes for handle fastening (stainless steel pinstock included), and has a single 0.187 inch thong hole for optional use (thong hole tubing not included).
