The blade length measures 11.00 inches, has a cutting edge of 10.00 inches, and is 1.80 inches at the widest point. The blade is made from precision 9Cr13CoMoV stainless steel (Equivalent SUS440C)(HRC 58-60), is flat-ground, heat-treated, satin finished, features a tapered-tang, and has a beveled top edge. The blade thickness is .250 inches at the midline, and is beveled to a fine point at the tip. The handle tang is tapered and allows the D-Guard component handle parts to slipover to a flush, secured abutment with the blade when constructed and tightened.
