Oregon Skinner - DIY Knife Making Kit - USA Design The Oregon Skinner is a high quality bolstered skinning design which is 6.50 inches overall in length. It has a 2.75 inches long blade that is 0.90 inches wide and 0.125 inches thick. This AUS8 high carbon stainless steel blade comes with three 0.190 inch diameter through-holes for 0.187 inch handle pins (stainless steel pinstock included), handle bolts, and/or tubing. This pattern also has two 0.125 inch diameter holes for optional pins in the middle of the handle.The Oregon Skinner is hollow-ground and mirror-polished. It comes standard with stainless steel bolsters and bolster pins. This is a great design for a working skinner and a really fun project to build.
