You gotta love new old stock! I picked up a whole lot of these at a local estate sale. I’m not exactly sure where they originated from, what they are for, or how you use them. I have personally used them to affix merchandise hanging up high from a ladder in our antique booth. I’ve also used them to secure a small, rolled-up rug. They are very handy! They are extremely sturdy. I wish I knew exactly how much weight they were designed to hold. The strap itself is 14″ long and 1″ wide excluding the metal rings. That extra little piece of material attached to one of the metal rings measures about 1 1/2″ -1 7/8″ (from its straight edge to its angled tip). I’m not exactly sure what the material is. My initial hunch was a heavy type of canvas. I see many listed as being a nylon poly. So again I am not sure. You can tell they are well-made. You might just see some excess stitching here and there and/or a tiny spot from storage. But they are clearly brand-new.
