Up for sale is Colonial Williamsburg Stieff Pewter tea caddy scoop. It features a short handle, and a bowl engraved with pineapple. Although it is only 4 3/4″ long, it is sturdy and heavy for its size. Since pewter had been a great part of life in Colonial America and its popularity was growing, Colonial Williamsburg asked Stieff to create a line of pewter products that would be recreations of colonial items, and it was a big success. These reproductions were manufactured by the skilled craftsmen of The Stieff Company and proudly bear the hallmark of Williamsburg Restoration, Incorporated.
