The sword Wado Ichimonji features in the famous anime One Piece. It belongs to Roronoa Zoro’s and he describes it as a magnificent sword. This O Wazamono grade Katana once belonged to Zoro’s childhood female counterpart, Kuina and her family. When Kuina unexpectedly passed, Zoro asked Kuina’s father if he might inherit the Wado Ichimonji in honor of Kuina. The sword features a carbon steel dual tone blade. The scabbard is all shiny white with a nylon bow wrap. The handle is also white nylon wrapped over black faux ray skin. our single-hand Marshall Sword sets new standards of quality and authenticity in broadsword construction. The sword is based on an original, now in a British museum, used by one of England’s finest knights, Sir William Marshall, who served the crown faithfully under Henry II, Richard the Lionheart and Jack Lackland. This Marshall sword available is hand forged with carbon steel. Because of the true hand-forged nature of these swords, no two are alike. The blade features a central ridge fuller running 3/4 way down the middle. You can actually see the hammering on this blade which shows its real handmade authentication. The sword is classically styled, with a cruciform hilt, wheel pommel and a leather wrapped handle with finger grooving. The Hilt and Guard is made from the same material as the blade. Most of the weight is on the blade itself so that the sword can be wielded forcefully without undue wear and tear on the arm. The scabbard is leather covered with steel fittings. This is a perfect sword for re-enactor, cosplay or Medieval Festivals. *Please note that due to the carbon steel construction of this handmade sword, there may be slight imperfections including some rusting on this item. This rust is easily removable and should not deter from the longterm value of this item. Further rusting can be avoided by proper maintenance of the blade.
