Antique c1885 Delft Spode Copeland dinner plate in the classic “Spode’s Tower” transferware pattern with rich mulberry/red transfer and floral highlights. The plate features the original Delft Spode Copeland England backstamp with a Registered Design number, confirming its late 19th-century Victorian age. Vintage condition without visible cracks or chips. Rare Find!!
Very nice with no chips, cracks or crazing. Item measures approx. 10 3/4″ handle to spout by 7″ tall (32 ounces). I pack boxes within boxes for safe arrival of your items. FLORIDA is one of the several TRANSLUCENT patterns that Spode introduced before the end of the 19th century, and they are many in the earthenware pieces. Copeland Spode made these 3 pieces in the FLORIDA pattern during the 1890s and they have survived very well as none them show any flaws.
