Hard-to-find round tea tile or trivet made by Copeland Spode in the blue version of the “Spode’s Tower” pattern. Features a cobalt blue and white transferware landscape scene with traditional floral border. Has the old version of the Copeland Spode mark on the back (incised and printed), indicating that it was manufactured in the early 20th century. Measures 6″ in diameter and about 3/4″ thick including the foot. In very good condition, no chips or cracks, has a couple of brown scuffed rough marks on the side and light scratching on the front…neither of which is visible on display. Beautiful old piece for a blue and white collection!
