This auction is for four (4) Variant Covers to the 18 Days series that was released by Graphic India in 2015. All of these issues come with the Limited Edition Wraparound Variant Covers and have amazing art by Mukesh Singh. Issue #1 has the Oracle Variant Cover while issue #3 has Duryodhana’s Rage on it. Issue #4 has the Arjuna Hesitates Variant Cover and issue #5 the Bheeshma Supreme Variant Cover. This title deals with the final battle between the gods and Earth transforms from a world of gods to a world of man. Issues #1, #3 and #4 are written by Grant Morrison with interior art by Jeevan Kang, Sharad Devarajan Gotham Chopra while issue #5 has Chopra taking over the writing with Ashwin Pande as Kang continues as the artist. The issues follow three generations of super-warriors as they prepare for a final battle and the good guys must lie, cheat and break rules in order to win. Many characters are introduced like Yudish; the villainous King Duryodhana and his blind father, King Dhrit; Arjuna; the goddess Durga who rains blood on the battlefield and Bheeshma, the last super-warrior from the early age. This is a great story with a mythical and fantastic base but a very modern story of politics and civics and the failure of ideals in the harsh reality of truth.
