This is from the rare Hinderer 3rd Generation Flipper with a satin finish. This knife went into my private collection in 2013 where sat in a safe till I found this again. This was handled only for pictures but never used carried or sharpened. This is beautiful rare and a full custom from a hand ground custom Hollow Double ground Slicer Deep Hollow Ground blade with a swedge along the spine. This thing has ultra smooth flipping action with a solid lockup and a centered blade. This has a hand applied Satin Finish on the blade. This is one of the later 3rd generation with the Marked Blade that uses the S35VN Blade Steel. This has a Stonewashed 6AL4V Titanium Lock Side and Liner and accessories which is great because should you carry or use this, the stonewash finish hides light marks and wear pretty well. You can tell a lot of time and thought went into the making of this knife. This is exactly how it came directly from Rick Hinderer in this finish. This is a 3rd Gen so the detent on these are not as strong as with the 4th Generation. I think this is just fine but if you are a guy that needs a strong detent, than this knife is probably not for you. I can provide you with a video if you like. This will come with the original Box, Baggie and tactical peanuts. This is Brand New, never used, carried or sharpened and has been sealed air tight and in a safe it’s entire life. This is being sold as is in terms of the detent. I don’t believe Rick Hinderer will adjust the detent so you have to love it as is. This was in my personal knife collection and a true grail.
