Roads & Highways

Two vintage folding maps. One map is a 1988-1989 road map of Quebec that’s printed in French that measures approximately 28 by 38 inches. The other one is a double sided 1972 National Geographic Map. One side is a map of Canada, and the other side has a picture of Ice Age Mammals of the Alaskan Tundra measuring approximately 22 inches by about 31.5 inches. Both maps are in good used condition showing wear typical of age and use. The Nat Geo map has a small stain on the bottom of the map side (see photos).

This is an original 1949 vernacular snapshot photograph capturing a candid moment of a man loading luggage into a car, with a baby carriage or stroller visible nearby. This vintage snapshot offers a glimpse into post-war American life, possibly depicting a family road trip or travel scene from the mid-20th century. The photograph features deckled edges and has “AUGUST 1949” embossed on the front, providing a clear date for this historical piece. It’s a charming example of found photography, perfect for collectors of vintage Americana, automotive history, or those interested in everyday life in the 1940s. This listing includes one (1) unmounted snapshot photograph.
