Vintage brass pomander or potpourri hinged round ball ornament. Darkened patina as shown. Cool hinge latches so ball may be closed. Ball measures 3 1/4” round. Small square shaped holes/piercings allow scent to escape. Has gold-colored hook to hang. Bottom of ball has dark spot in metal as shown. Thanks for looking. Good pre-owned condition, from the estate of an antique collector. No chips or breaks. Patinated cast metal, perhaps bronze. Standing buffalo attached to square inkwell platform with fountain pen holder. Lovely green oxidation on piece. Light rust oxidation on surface of inkwell square. Buffalo is very detailed. See photos. Inkwell square tray measures 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″. Piece measures 2 1/2″H x 4″W x 4 1/4″ L. Piece weighs over 12 oz.
