UP FOR YOUR VIEWING IS A, ANTIQUE PEG OIL LAMP FONT. IT’S MARKED ON THE BOTTOM [ ORPENS PAT JULY 29, 1862 ]. BURNER COLLAR IS DATED 1876 AND FILL COLLAR IS DATED 1875 & 1878?. FONT HAS THE PANEL SIDES AND IS 3 1/4″ ACROSS THE BASE. THE PEG HOLE IS 9/16″ TAPERS IN AND IS 1 3/4″ DEEP. SEE NO CRACKS OR CHIPS NEEDS REWASHED. ANY QUESTIONS EMAIL ME THANKS.

This vintage red embossed glass kerosene oil lamp with a metal burner exudes a Victorian style and charm. The lantern design and original production make it a unique and collectible piece. The closure on burner doesn’t latch properly as shown on picture but could easily be replaced. Does have some scratches as shown in pictures.
