Very nice, rare, vintage, Don Gidcumb custom hunter with thick, formed, contoured & sculpted, black Micarta scales and beautiful red liners. Polished nickel-silver guard, pins & lanyard hole. Pistol grip pommel/ butt and satin-polished, hand-ground & honed 1095 steel blade. Beautiful craftsmanship, fit & finish by a well-known & respected, longtime knifemaker, with the nickname of “Duck”, from Kentucky, that started making knives in 1966. Don made knives for over 55 years! Heavier, solid and well-built knife. The blade looks like stainless-steel but is 1095 steel. Original custom sheath by maker, L or R horizontal carry, with keeper thongs. Mint condition. Collector-quality. Great-looking knife!!
