This tumble up pitcher / jug is a Frederick Carder Aurene design from Steuben. The base has a nice polished pontil and is signed AURENE 3064. Beautiful iridescent hues of gold and blue.
The iridescent crystals on this piece are amazing. They pick up the light and sparkle from every direction. In between the large teardrop crystals, there are two crystal spacers, but in three areas these are missing.
It has Grapes and Vines embossed the outside. There may be scratches in the glass. It has a V in a circle on the interior bottom. This piece is rare, scarce and hard to find. This would make a great addition to your collection.
Made from iridescent blue carnival glass. Made by Summit Art Glass Co. from the late 1980’s to early 1990’s. Perfect gift idea! Easily used as a decorative piece, paperweight, or gift to your favorite blue glass collector.
