These are new reproductions of US issue Blanket Bag, Model of 1878. This is made in the early pattern, and comes with black shoulder straps. The Blanket Bag was standard issue to the US Army, USMC, US Navy landing parties, State Militias, and Territorial Constabularies. These were also used extensively by Boy Scouts when they became available through surplus channels. This offering is for one blanket bag with the “US” marking.
