Vintage Korean War Era U.S. Navy Sailor Photo Identification Card Walter F Wescott 1930 -1983 Born in Ludlow, he had lived in Westfield until 1978, moving to Farmville, N.C. He moved to Piermont in 1979. He attended Westfield, Mass., schools and worked for the Sterling Radiator Co. of Westfield for 22 years. He entered the Navy in 1947 and served for 10 years. After his discharge, he served in the Naval Reserve until 1968. He was a member of the maintenance department at Oxbow High School in Bradford, Vt., and served as a senior warden of the Episcopal Church in Westfield.
