New made, handy small WWII German Wehrmacht-Notizbuch 1944 notebook based on a mash up of a variety of similar small original pocket notebooks of the era. Not exactly a reproduction of one specific item, more of a useful thing that looks the part. Many people over the years have come to me looking for a basic notebook for quick little notes in the field or for event stuff; this fills that role nicely without being a complete farby fantasy. Little notebooks like this did exist in a myriad of forms, but this one is just nice, simple, and inexpensive. The inside front cover has spaces to write service related information and the inside back cover has a calendar for 1944.  Price is for ONE. We also have these notebooks as Luftwaffe-Notizbuch and Mein Dienstbegleiter (service companion). I DO COMBINE SHIPPING! I tried to have it set up to automatically combine shipping costs, but that doesn’t always work. If you feel it is not correctly combining shipping, please write in the order notes “combine shipping” or something of that nature when you order (not as a separate message). The note in the order flags it for me so it is easier for me to keep track and refund accordingly. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven’t figured it out, so this is my best option at the moment. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I must declare FULL VALUE on customs forms. This means you may have to pay customs fees upon arrival. Listing and template services provided by inkFrog

WWII German Helmet Carry Strap, fits M35/M40/M42 helmets. This is an accurate reproduction of a carry strap that was on an original M35 helmet that I acquired in 1965. The helmet IS NOT INCLUDED. The straps are made to order for the helmet shell size, so please send your size requirements. If you are unsure I will let you know what to measure. The first six photos are of the reproduction strap and the last six photos are of the original helmet which was named to an Oberleutnant. The final photo is from WWII and illustrates an observer or spotter a similar carry strap on his helmet. I had always assumed that it was intended to be snapped onto a fixed loop in an armored vehicle, but could just as easily be clipped to field gear belt. Hand made in the USA! All hardware is as accurate to WWII pattern as possible. High quality construction is vegetable tanned leather belting with aged brass rivets, steel hooks, roller buckle, keeper, and fixed loop snap hook as on the original. Leather finish is slightly aged but will improve with use. When ordering please let me know what size shell you have so I can make the strap in the correct size and mount the hanger strap so it will center properly. I can make these for size 62, 64, 66, 68, and 70 shells. The strap may be worn with the snap hook in front or at the rear, is easy to rotate, and is flexible enough to be quickly removed without unbuckling.
