I started making these in response to requests from my clients to use my Brackets for holding toilet paper. I can’t cast the brackets deep enough to extend far enough from the wall to be used by themselves, so have solved that issue with a bronze box upon which the brackets are bolted. These brackets are for 5/8″ diameter rods for Toilet Paper (6″ rod) or Paper Towel Roll (12″ rod). The head is fitted onto a decorative bronze spacer box to elevate the bracket far enough from the surface to allow a full roll of Toilet Paper or Paper Towels. The finials extend about 1 3/8″ beyond each end of the rod. Of course, these need to be aligned horizontally to function properly. The 12″ rod for Paper Towels (INSTEAD OF the shorter rod) costs $12 extra, and there is also an extra charge for shipping, as they will not fit into a Small Flat Rate Priority Mail Box. The round finials make an elegant ending to the rod, and prevents the rod from pulling out, unless you unscrew the finial. The finials are easily unscrewed to allow the changing of the rolls.Makes a great gift! Very few of these have EVER been made!
