This large, eye-catching handmade piece my mother aquired in Africa. Its exceptional size (over 4 feet wide when spread), intricate open-weave construction, colorful geometric patterning in earthy browns with pink/red accents, and shoulder strap make it stand out from typical smaller African tribal baskets or fish traps. It was made in the 1990s, made from woven natural fibers. The weaving is in good condition. This would be a wonderful wall display piece. It’s one of a kind, and rare for its size.

Absolutely beautiful first vein ocean Jasper fish carving pair. The pink one looks to have been damaged and super glues a piece of the tail back it’s unnoticeable unless looking at it close up. Weight for the pair is 59 grams total. Excellent pair for collectors These are natural stones taken under LED lighting. Stones may have flaws such scratches, cracks or other natural imperfections. This whimsical vintage fisherman’s basket vase in a majolica style features a charming chinoiserie design of koi fish and a lily pad and is typical of Japanese artistry. The vase is in very good pre loved condition free of any chips or cracks. Please see all photos as they are part of the description. Hand-painted with earthy tones of brown, green, and tan, this ceramic piece has a 3D effect and features a Japanese manufacturer cartouche or kiln mark on the unglazed ceramic bottom. Made in Japan during the late 20th century, this unique vase adds a touch of elegance and nostalgia to any space with its basketweave pattern and vintage appeal.
