Item Tag: Embossed, Divided Back

This is a lovely antique postcard featuring a heavily embossed green woven basket filled with purple and lavender violets, with sprigs of Lily of the Valley at its base. The card bears the message ‘Birthday Greetings’ on the front. This is a Divided Back era (c. 1907-1915) chromolithograph postcard, marked with the series number ‘SER. 617’ on the front. The card is unused and has not been postally mailed. Condition is excellent with sharp corners and clean surfaces, showing only minimal age toning.
