This is an original vintage postcard from the Divided Back era (c. 1907-1915) featuring an Art Nouveau style motto. The card reads “Let the Greetings on this Card Whisper of a great Regard” with heavily embossed and gilded illuminated letters, surrounded by pink roses and colorful scrollwork. Identified on the back as part of the “Motto Series No 2.” The card has been posted, with a partial postmark, and is addressed to Mrs. Ella Evans in Bethany, Missouri. Condition is good for its age with minor corner rounding and light toning along the edges.
As of July 9, 2023, USPS postage costs have gone up enough that I am having to change my shipping prices. 1 to 11 cards will now ship for $1.75. There are some faint tiny specks on the front, but otherwise, it is in very good condition. These will be sent in an envelope with cardboard. 12 to 35 postcards ship for $3.75. They will be in a bubble envelope package using eBay labels with tracking. I used to send all the cards that way, but changes the USPS just made, have made it cost as much to send 1 card that way as to send the 35.
