Small booklet, circa 1965, privately published by the Osage-Halley’s Bluff Park Association. It contains the transcript of a talk given by Floyd Shoemaker of the Missouri Historical Society, explaining the Osage-French era of SW Missouri. Sites described include Harmony Mission, Papinsville, Halley’s Bluff, and Fort Carondelet. About 3 inches by 6 inches, 24 pages. Excellent condition, pages complete, no rips or stains, staples rusted.
