The BASE fountain pen uses an international short or long ink cartridge of a standard size ink converter (not included). The gloss transparent blue resin barrel is offset with a black metal pocket clip with the Schneider logo “S” edged at the tip. The cap is a snap on type and can be posted securely to extend the length of the pen during writing. The pen’s grip section has a rubberized section making for a comfortable fit in the hand.
