Very interesting and unique item: An original actor’s demo audition recording on acetate lacquer disc. Recorded on audiodisc recording blank (model #8314) at Chicago Recording Studios at the Lyon & Healy Building on E Jackson Blvd. in the 1950’s. This was made for Ed Gilbert (born Edmund Francis Giesbert) 1931-2020, noted voice actor most famous for providing voice of Baloo in Disney’s Tale Spin animated series. Record features the actor performing several different characters and dialects. Only one side is recorded on, other side is blank. In fair condition with moderate wear to record and sleeve. There is a lot of skipping on my player, but these things were intended for short term use, not meant to last decades. All in all, a one-of-a-kind, historical piece of American entertainment memorabilia from a long-gone analog era. Thanks!
