The delightful, and nearly forgotten Hector Heathcote Show, ran on NBC from 1963 to 1966. It featured a bumbling but virtuous and well meaning MinuteMan named Hector Heathcote, who always mistaked his way to solving problems, and always ended up the hero. Other Terrytoons cartoons included the honorable Hashimoto San, (Japanese House Mouse), and the 44 year old childlike Sidney the elephant. Apparently the show ran in syndication, but has never been formerly released. I am offering a two dvd set, each with six shows… each featuring a Hector, a Hashimoto, and a Sidney cartoon. There are 36 cartoons in all This was a great Saturday morning cartoon, during the 1960’s, which arguably, was the best time to be a kid.I hope these cartoon shows will delight and offer a glimpse of a way better time to be alive. I wish I could offer the original show openings and closings, but they are unavailable. Wonderful Collectable RARE Antique 1850s United States Pottery Company Beige Palm Tree Pitcher. 7.5″ tall by 3″ opening diameter by 4.5″ wide; weighs 1 lb. 4 oz Signed. This stein was made in the 1850s – from 1852 to 1858. It is made of Parian porcelain so popular at the time with a sterling silver lid. The Bennington Museum calls this pattern Paul and Virginia. Highly-glazed white porcelain (Parian.) Palm tree pattern. Large palm trees and other leafy plants on the bottom, and extending up from it. The handle has same leaf design. Stippled background. Widest at the bottom, narrows towards the top.” The stein is in excellent condition – no cracks, chips or any kind of damage or repairs.
