Here is a beautiful piece of American Brilliant Cut glass from J. Hoare & Company, Corning, N.Y. It is a 5″ x 3″, with lid closed, cut glass powder jar. A beautiful piece to add to your dressing table or would make a wonderful gift for that someone special. It has a silverplate rim and hinge and is free of all chips, cracks and repairs. It is definitely marked in the center of the bottom but I was unable to get a picture. It is an etched mark – J. Hoare & Co. – Corning – 1853. Buyer to pay shipping dependent upon delivery location.
