The Vampire set features a large machete and two throwing knives. The machete is 25″ overall with a 17.875″ black stonewashed 420 stainless steel sawback blade. The ABS handles feature finger grooves for comfort and a secure grip. The machete is made with full tang construction and a lanyard hole. The 2 throwing knives are 7.5″ overall with 3.75″ drop point blades. They feature one-piece construction with paracord wrapped handles. The Vampire set comes with a nylon belt sheath with an adjustable nylon shoulder strap.  All weights and measurements are approximate. Knife Making Guard – Oval Shaped – 420 Stainless Designed by Harvey Dean (Master Blade Smith) This is a Harvey Dean designed precision oval guard for a hidden tang knife. These are made from heat-treated, engravable 420 stainless steel and come with a satin finish. This design measures (2.925 x 1.125 x .170) and features a (.640 x .240) slipover slot. The slot features a front recess on the top and bottom to accommodate a radius between the tang and blade. This is common on welded, CNC’d, or sawed tang transitions. This feature is great for assisting fit-up, and can be enlarged for increased tang dimensions. This model goes great with stainless handle fittings and is easy to finish.
