Very Rare original Jeep Comanche production launch medallion issued July 1, 1985 at the Toledo, Ohio assembly plant — the gold colored executive variant, serial number 651. Two variants were issued at the Toledo launch: bronze medallions for factory workers and serialized gold medallions for executives. A very limited number of these were produced and distributed to leadership. Details: • “Jeep Comanche / July 1, 1985” with AMC corporate eagle logo • Front 3/4 profile on one face, rear 3/4 on the reverse • Approximately 2” diameter • Original clear plastic clamshell display case with black foam insert – the foam is from the 80s so it’s fairly fragile.
