This rare variation features a distinctive, non-reflective matte finish, making it a highly graphic, display-ready piece. The bottoms bear the original green ink “Made in Japan” stamp. I dusted them so they will need cleaning.

Lovely jewel toned shade of a striking AQUA BLUE that has a lot of mint green in it, almost a robin’s egg blue. The colored glaze is also on the inside of the piece. Excellent condition, no flaws whatsoever other than one very shallow and small flake off of edge of foot- see last pic.
I really have no idea what this cute little puppy was originally designed for. He can be hung on a wall and the front could be used as a hook or he can sit on a flat surface. Toothbrush holder?. Made in Japan is printed on the bottom.
