Peruvian women wove these blankets for multi purposes. Clothing, blankets, swaddleing babies, carrying produce over shoulder etc. This weaving has an incredible amount of intricate detail, no solid areas of one color. Weaving is a large 32″ X 42″ in size. There is minor moth damage on some edges, the worst shown in last photo. These can be repaired. Weaving went through the recommended freezing (twice) to kill any moth larve which might have been left behind. Strong colors with little fade.
