Discoidal fragment, almost half, 3 1/2″ diameter, pink granite, North Central Alabama, Tennessee style, repurposed as hammerstone, both broken ends of rim are battered, rounded and worn, see last two photos. Great study piece, desirable material. Broken anciently, also a recent break I believe to one edge exposing unpatinated granite, a pinker color, see bottom of first three photos.
