Just the piece of glass – if you have the base, then you have the marriage! We’ve included a picture of a completed unit for reference ONLY – you’re ONLY purchasing the piece of glass. Nice condition – very little wear except that the I and R of the Knick portion are completely devoid of paint! The I is dotted OK – but there’s not a hint of residual paint remaining – almost wondering if, based on the spectacular condition of the rest of the piece, if the glass was never finished??? In any case, it’s an easy fix given that the glass is etched – the hardest part would be matching the paint… Would look great framed if a base can’t be found! Measures EXACTLY 12 by 5.
This is only part of a lighted sign – we’ve never seen the actual sign so can only speculate. Pretty sure it’s meant to be a drop down because of the way that the gold border is situated. Does have some white paint loss – easy enough for someone with at least a modicum of artistic talent to fix – and the gold inlay that’s surrounding each letter is very solid overall. We’ve included a picture of something that we think is similar to how this piece would have been – also a United States Brewing piece – but we do not own that sign and it’s not a part of the sale – just a reference piece. The Gold Crown measures almost exactly 14 ¾ by 9. Even by itself – with repaired lettering and framed, it would be quite a nice piece.
