One that you rarely see . Remington R103 Crimped Bolster Jack from 1921-1924 . Overall a nice knife for being over 100 years old . Blades are around 95% , no pitting and both blades have good snap . Jigged bone scales appears to be in good shape with nothing that stands out but please use the pictures as reference . Looks like there was a bail added to this knife at one time .
Absolutely beautiful brown jigged bone on this antique Remington Bullet Lockback R1253 folding hunter. The knife measures 5 1/4″ closed. The blade has good snap when closing and the locking mechanism works well. A bit of side to side play when open and the blade shows wear, use and pitting as seen in the pictures. Just a bit of the blade tip is exposed in closed position. Remnant of the original Remington etch still seen on the blade near the long pull. Nickel silver bolsters, bullet shield and brass liners. You will be hard pressed to find nicer bone scales on an old Remington bullet knife. See my other listings for more old pocket knives.
