Up for sale is an absolutely fascinating WWII Navy PTO Named Scrapbook USS Norton Sound: Photos, Certificates, Letter, Commendations, etc. Scrapbook named to Harry G. Burstow, Pharmacist Mate while aboard the USS Norton Sound. The USS was a Seaplane Tender. The USS Norton Sound participated in the Pacific Theater Operations (PTO) during WWil. Many photos were taken in Okinawa. There are 240 plus photos. Many of these photos are described. Unfortunately, we are unable to show every photo, but are able to provide a very good overall view of the excellent photos in this scrapbook. Nice condition for its age. There are no gridlines and much of the smaller print is difficult if not impossible to read even under a magnifying glass due to its large scale as well being printed on the porous surface of fabric instead of the smooth surface of paper.
