Giant Natural Clam Sea Shell Approximately 5 3/4 Lbs. 12 1/2 In. Long 9 In. Wide Description and Item Information Up for sale is this beautiful giant clam shell. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This natural shell measures approximately 12 1/2 inches long by 9 inches wide. It is about 4 1/8 inches tall; in order to measure the height, I turned it upside down (like it is positioned in Photo 3). When it is positioned right side up, as shown in Photo 1, it tilts to one side or the other and it does not rest flat. The shell weighs about 5 3/4 pounds, unpacked. This piece would be a fine addition to a collection, or it would be a wonderful decor item. Identification This exact shell species and original collecting locality are not known. This is from a northern California estate. Condition The shell looks very good overall, as shown. There are scattered, small flakes and chips, as found. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made. 2. Shipping Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included.
