Today I am offering this unique handmade 6-holed Native American Style flute crafted by flutemaker Randy Sarnes of Thunderbear Flutes of Green Bay Wisconsin. This red cedar wood flute is a full 30 inches in length with a 1.5# bore. Unlike traditional Native American style flutes with the mouthpiece at the end, this flute has a mouthpiece inserted into the right side, making it a side-blown instrument. It has a standard carved totem tied down with genuine leather strapping. It is tuned to the chord of A and possesses a low deep melodic voice. It also features a bit of genuine turquoise at the end. This flute would make a worthy addition to any flute enthusiast’s collection and is available for purchase. It is also numbered and features the Thunderbear Signature.
This product is an authentic handcrafted Native American flute, specifically from the Lumbee tribe. The flute is traditionally tuned and made with sawgrass materials, reflecting the cultural heritage of the Lumbee people. This unique musical instrument is a traditional piece that showcases the craftsmanship and cultural significance of Native American flute making.
