Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This listing is for a group of FIVE (5) identical large Brass safety style pins. These heavy duty pins were produced in the mid to late 1970’s and feature a nice, single wire formed design. They measure 3 1/2″ long x 1″ wide and are perfect for blankets, linens, kilts, shawls or any fabric needing a larger than normal pin. They have many other applications as well such as hobbies, crafts, keys, jewelry and fashion projects. The pins are all NEW and UNUSED and in great condition. The un-plated brass surface has a natural patina that appears a bit more red than yellow, indicating a good amount of copper in the mixture. The pins may have a very tiny age spot here or there but certainly nothing significant. We like the natural, aged look but they can be cleaned if you want to shine them up and bring out the more classic brass look. *We cleaned an identical pin and placed it next to an uncleaned pin and some raw copper wire to show that it will appear a bit more yellow when the patina is removed (see last photo).
