This large, eye-catching handmade piece my mother aquired in Africa. Its exceptional size (over 4 feet wide when spread), intricate open-weave construction, colorful geometric patterning in earthy browns with pink/red accents, and shoulder strap make it stand out from typical smaller African tribal baskets or fish traps.
